Our Beginning

The heart of TÉI began long before the brand had a name.
I’m Toei, a jewellery designer from Thailand now based in Australia, and my love for jewellery started over 25 years ago when I was a child stringing tiny bead rings to sell for just a few baht. That small spark grew into a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, design, and the stories jewellery can hold.

I later earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial design (jewellery) and began my career in Bangkok, working with respected Thai jewellery houses while building relationships with artisans whose families have preserved silversmithing traditions for generations. Thailand is known worldwide for its gemstones and craftsmanship, and these roots have shaped my approach to creating meaningful pieces with integrity and soul.

Our Journey

Before becoming TÉI Jewellery, our “Mantra of Birth” collection was first introduced under our former brand, Ri&Co, and proudly showcased at Bangkok Design Week 2021. A celebration of creativity and cultural storytelling in Thailand.

That moment marked an important beginning: a reflection of how faith, heritage, and craftsmanship could be transformed into contemporary jewellery.

Today, through TÉI Jewellery, we continue that journey with renewed purpose.

TÉI is an independent, small-batch jewellery brand built on craftsmanship, intention, and genuine connection.
Our team may be small, but every member from designers to artisans, works with the precision, dedication, and warmth of a close-knit family. This allows us to create jewellery with a level of care, quality control, and personal attention that large-scale production simply cannot offer.

Nothing here is mass-produced. Every design is touched by real hands, real care, and real artistry.

From my studio in Australia, each piece begins with thoughtful sketching, refining, and design development. While some collections are handcrafted by skilled artisans I’ve partnered with for many years, every finished creation is personally reviewed in Australia to ensure the highest standards of quality.

One of our most beloved creations is the Name Yours, Love Yours collection. Personalised name jewellery designed with depth, dimension, and intention.

Each piece is brought to life through a refined, multi-step process:
2D design development beginning with both hand-drawn sketches and digital refinement to achieve perfect proportions
3D modelling for smooth curves, structural accuracy, and balanced weight
High-precision resin wax printing to capture crisp, detailed forms
Lost-wax casting in solid sterling silver or gold
Hand-soldering, filing, polishing, and fine finishing by experienced artisans
Premium thick plating for durability and long-lasting shine

It is a slow, meticulous craft but it is the only way to create a name that is beautifully shaped, deeply personal, and made to last.
